In addition, zinc in yogurt may increase production of leptin (a hormone that has been shown to improve metabolism and suppress appetite).

Fiber-rich strawberries keep you full for longer and also contain vitamin C. For intake of caffeine (a natural metabolism-enhancer), you can use some green tea and sprinkle cinnamon (a warming spice that can temporarily increase metabolism) on your smoothie. In the end, you will get a breakfast with less than 345 calories, which has more than 30 g of protein and 1.8 g of fiber.

Ingredients

  • 170 g of fat-free vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 8 almonds
  • 1/4 cup of broccoli florets with no stalks
  • 1/4 cup of frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 cup of white or garbanzo beans
  • 3/4 cup of cold green tea
  • 1 teaspoon of flaxseed powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

Preparation Procedure

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a mixer until achieving a smooth mixture.
  2. Pour the mixture in a glass, sprinkle a little cinnamon on it, and serve it immediately.
